This Privacy Policy covers Silverpark.net's treatment of personally identifiable information that Silverpark.net requires when you are on the Silverpark site or participate in its online community. And/or when you use Silverpark's services. This policy also covers Silverpark's treatment of any personally identifiable information that Silverpark's business partners share with Silverpark or that Silverpark may collect on a partner's site.
This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Silverpark does not own or control, or to people that Silverpark does not employ or manage.

What information is collected:
Silverpark collects information during the registration process. The personally identifiable information Silverpark collects includes first and last name. In addition, Silverpark also collects non-personally identifiable information such as: country, region or state, zip or postal code, time zone, gender, birth date and occupation. You may update your Registration Information at any time from within your Silverpark account by contacting a server administrator.

How does Silverpark use my information:
Your registration information is used to operate the site, for demographic statistics, and to display appropriate individualized advertisements. Silverpark will not send you any unsolicited information, including e-mail, except as mentioned below. New users will receive a Silverpark welcome letter explaining the features provided by the service. Silverpark may also send periodic member letters to announce important service changes, new features, technical issue updates and news about other Silverpark services and/or products. Silverpark may also contact you to conduct research about your opinion of current and prospective services via e-mail surveys. Silverpark may from time to time contact you, on behalf of external business partners, about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. Silverpark will not share your e-mail address or personal information with these business partners.

Who else may receive my personal information:
Silverpark keeps your personally identifiable information private and does not share it with any third parties. Silverpark will not disclose your Personal Information unless acting under a good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

Your non-personally identifiable information from your Silverpark registration (such as zip code and gender) may be shared with other Silverpark websites to provide a more personalized advertising experience online. But none of your personally identifiable information is shared with the third party websites.

What can I do to manage unsolicited e-mail in my Silverpark account:
Silverpark will not sell, lease or rent its member lists with any third parties. While Silverpark continues to actively review and implement new technology, such as expanded filtering features, there is no currently available technology that will totally prevent the sending and receiving of unsolicited e-mail.

COPPA Statement

The Silverpark Network, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) of 1998, provides notice to parents of children under 13 that:

The Silverpark Network may collect personal information from children under 13 years of age in order to provide them with access to services and content on the Silverpark Network;

The Silverpark Network needs the consent of parents or guardians to collect, use and disclose personally identifiable information about children under 13;

The Silverpark Network has created a mechanism by which parents and guardians can provide consent;

The Silverpark Network may not require children under 13 to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in an activity as a condition of participation;
